What is hosting?
Every website needs to be 'hosted', which means storing the files somewhere so that they can then be displayed on the internet.
We can arrange it for you
We can arrange hosting for you via our supplier, tailoring a package to your specific needs and charging you one simple fixed cost. We'll make all the arrangements, and you'll only pay for the things that you need. Please ask for more details.
Do you have a domain name?
In addition to hosting, you also need a 'domain name' for your website. This is the address you type in to view each site, e.g. 'www.clarifiedweb.co.uk'. A domain name needs to be bought and registered to allow you to use it. We can also arrange this for you, and tie it in with your hosting package.
Already have hosting?
If you already have hosting arranged, we can usually work with that. Providing your host supplies all the elements you need for your new website, then there is no need to move. However, if you wish you can transfer your hosting package to us at a convenient time. You'll then have just one point of contact for all your website queries.
