Spiderweb Musicals - school musical publishers

Spiderweb Musicals publish school musicals for Key Stage 2 children. A brand new website was required to promote details of the musicals - including script extracts and song samples. The site has an easy-to-use shopping basket and is integrated with PayPal to allow customers to buy and pay directly from the website. A mailing list function was also developed to keep customers up to date with the latest news of other musicals.

Race Energy - renewable energy product supplier

Race Energy supply products which provide efficient and renewable energy power, e.g. solar panels, wind turbines and efficient electric radiators. They needed a re-design of their existing website in order to better promote their products and services, particularly highlighting the environmental benefits and cost savings of using renewable energy.

Hot Sands - holiday apartment in the Cape Verde Islands

Hot Sands is a self-catering holiday apartment in the Cape Verde Islands. A brand new website was required to provide details about the apartment to prospective holiday-makers. This includes an up-to-date availability listing, which the owners can update themselves using bespoke 'content management' tools.

Easyread - children's 'learn to read' programme

Easyread is a web-based course of reading lessons for children. An online subscription service was required to enable schools and parents to register their children and access their own individual reading plan. Clarified Web Design created this subscription system, which was combined with the lesson pages supplied by the client. Alongside this, a complex and bespoke management system was developed which enables Easyread staff to carry out full online maintenance and administration of the programme.

Dormez Vous - handmade quilt retailer

Dormez Vous is a family-run business selling quality, handmade quilts. The website was built to a precise design standard to reflect the company image and the standard of the products being sold. Clear photographs showcase the quilts, with alternative views showing the quality of the detail.

Total Chemistry is an Oxfordshire-based gay introduction agency. A website was required to portray the agency as fun, professional and approachable. The site has a very clear layout, designed to help people find the information they need quickly and easily, whilst a registration form puts interested clients directly in touch with the agency.

Oxford based glazing company Oxford Glass launched a new website to showcase examples of their products, which range from windows and doors to furniture and shelving. Small photographs provide a quick overview without slowing down the page load time, and customers have the option to view larger images of the products they are interested in.

Blue Basil is a catering company based in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. As a new business they needed a website to promote their services, and to particularly emphasise their unique approach to event and business catering. The design was developed to be distinctive but still simple and easy to use.

They required a brand new website specifically to promote their Semi-Permanent Make-Up treatment, which is currently a unique service within Oxfordshire. The site was designed to appeal to a predominantly female audience by using soft lines and colours.

Newland House - residential care home

Newland House is a residential care home for the elderly in Witney, Oxfordshire. A brand new website was required to provide information about the home and to promote it to potential residents and their families. Tools have been included which allow Newland House staff to update some of the web pages themselves, ensuring the site always looks fresh and up-to-date.

Kangaroo Joe's is a newly re-launched children's soft play centre in Carterton. They required a brand new website to promote the centre and provide useful information to customers. The website was designed to be bright and fun to appeal to the target audience.

Christopher Townsend, an Oxfordshire based artist and sculptor requested a re-design of his website to help promote his work. He also needed the ability to carry out regular updates to the portfolio himself, so special administration tools were developed for this purpose.

Classic Flowers

Classic Flowers requested a brand new website featuring a clean, professional design and easy-to-use navigation. Various designs of bouquets and arrangements need to be shown, and these are categorised by occasion for quick and easy reference. As there are regular updates to the product listing, the structure of the site was created using a database, ensuring it is quick and easy to make amends or additions when required.

The Lamb Inn Restaurant, Crawley

The Lamb Inn Restaurant in Crawley required a complete replacement for their existing website. The main aim of the site is to feature the menus available along with pictures of the mouth-watering food. Clarified Web Design completed the project on time to a very tight deadline.

Las Descargues - holiday accommodation

Having redeveloped the website himself, the owner of French holiday accommodation 'Las Descargues' asked Clarified Web Design to provide the finishing touches and to develop the more technical aspects of the site. The website now features a content managed 'blog' section which is used to record daily wildlife sightings at Las Descargues.

Brook Project Management

Having redeveloped their website themselves, Brook Project Management asked Clarified Web Design to carry out a professional review of the site and provide the finishing touches. The design was tweaked for a more professional appearance, and the website coding amended to comply with all technical standards. The content was reviewed and advice given on writing in a web-friendly style.

Ian Peat Property Management

The Ian Peat Property Management website delivers a wide range of useful information to its residential lettings customers. The key feature is the content-managed property list, which is kept up-to-date by Ian Peat staff using customised tools. This is particularly important as details change daily, and it increases user confidence to know the list is always up to date. An email alert service is also provided, allowing users to be notified each time a new property becomes available - a key marketing tool for the business.

Witney Mills Cricket Club

The website for local cricket team Witney Mills provides information for current and prospective members. A 'content management system' enables authorised members to update areas of the website themselves, such as adding latest results and news. There is also the facility to manage member contact details, player availability and team selections. This all contributes to the efficient running of the club.

Papercuts - handmade greeting cards

The Papercuts handmade greeting cards website was relaunched with a new user-friendly design and improved accessibility features. As a lot of pictures need to be shown on the site, a 'catalogue' listing style was chosen. By using small 'preview' images on the card listing pages, page load times are kept to a minimum. Users can view larger versions of the pictures they are interested in.
